Central Market

Since 13 September 2014 we have been part of the Riga Central Market story. Our taproom in the Gastronomy Pavilion is where market-goers can wet their whistle with 8 different craft beers on tap while snacking on bites picked up around the market, or take home the perfect LABIETIS beer or soft drink to match that festive dinner they’re carefully planning.

A riot of flavour

Riga Central Market is the best place to buy food in the Baltics, where you can find traditional Latvian products alongside ambassadors from cultures near and far. This is where all the debauchery in the kitchen can begin, and this is why we have a full range of LABIETIES craft beers – the variety of flavours in our beer makes it safe to say that there is no food in the world that doesn’t go with one of our beers!

Zeppelin hangar

This is the kind of place you’d best slow down, grab a pint, take a seat and let your imagination soar as you gaze up at the ceiling. Riga Central Market is a unique architectural gem – its five majestic pavilions, originally built as World War I airship hangars, provide an atmosphere like no other. It remains one of the largest covered markets in Europe, and its sheer scale will impress even the most seasoned travellers.
