A seasonal blend from our wild-crafted log, combining ales matured in wooden barrels since 2020 with beers launched in 2022. Shortly before bottling, this old man is laid down on a juicy cat of freshly picked lilacs. The result hits the nostrils with a sweetened lilac aroma that transforms the style’s characteristic horse clover almost to melon. On the palate, however, this apparent mildness is replaced by a sour-spicy bouquet of morello, with the synthetically bittersweet lilac notes taking a back seat. The finish has a summery maturity with a beneficial effect on the psyche.
