A fresh take on a classic Belgian-style berry beer. We prepared a vatting from our 13th wood tank and a year of pure Brettonomyces-fermented beer, in which we mashed fresh currants at 1/5 for several months. The aroma has a distinct wild berry tang, wrapped in an almost chirpy aroma of currants. On the tongue, the uncharacteristically dense body with a pleasant fruitiness, where notes of chokecherries and cherries meet with threads of the peculiar sweetness of the corinth, which intertwines with the wild yeast in a lingering aftertaste.
